AI Human Handover is an optional add-on for any chatbot plan. Your team steps into the same chat; the AI pauses while they do.
- Step 1
A visitor asks for a person
They tap “Speak to a person” or ask in their own words. Complaints, and questions the assistant can’t answer, can also hand over automatically if you switch that on.
- Step 2
Your team is alerted
The assistant pauses and tells the visitor someone is on the way. Your team gets an email and a dashboard alert with a short summary of the chat so far.
- Step 3
One person joins and replies
A team member joins from the live inbox and replies in the same chat window. Only one person can take a chat, so the visitor never gets two answers.

Hand back or close
When they’re done, they hand back to the assistant (which can see what your team said) or close the chat.

Outside opening hours
The visitor is told honestly that the team isn’t available and is asked to leave their details. Nobody is left waiting.
